消息面上，11月29日，茶百道马来西亚首店在吉隆坡开业。分析人士表示，当下新茶饮品牌“出海”，往往绕不开东南亚。但不同国家的食品添加剂要求、原料资质、物料税收、包括物流周期都存在较大差异。茶百道在马来西亚组建本地团队，是跑通海外市场的关键举措。
据悉，茶百道马来西亚首店位于吉隆坡南部最大的商场Pavilion Bukit Jalil，此次茶百道一改以往在国内小而精的门店设计，选择在高端商场内开设门店，且相对于星巴克等国际品牌来说，定位更为高端、天然。之所以有这样的定位，与茶百道在以台式奶茶为主的马来西亚市场，主推其招牌水果茶有关。
