港灯-SS(02638.HK) 在“2023香港环境卓越大奖”中，获得“公共及社区服务”界别中最高级别的金奖。该奖项由环境运动委员会、环境及生态局联同9个机构合办。
港灯董事总经理郑祖瀛分享港灯创新环保项目，包括南丫发电厂研发的“声盾”系统。该系统设置在发电厂冷却水入口，通过播放鲸鱼的低频叫声，防止小型鱼类和其他海洋生物误闯冷却水系统。在“声盾”系统启用后，误闯的鱼类由2019年和之前最高峰的每个月大约6万多公斤，大幅减少至目前每个月只有大约25公斤，减幅超过99.5%。此举不但确保发电厂冷却水系统的可靠运行和稳定，亦保护海洋生态和渔业资源。
此外，港灯引入“环保流动供电孖宝”，以应对日常电力突发事故和在举办大型活动时，提供更稳定、更洁净的后备电力供应。该套系统由蓄能电池提供电力，与传统的流动柴油发电机比较，可以大大减低路边空气污染物的排放和噪音，亦可以减少大约三至四成的碳排放。(da/u)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。沽空资料截至 2024-12-02 12:25。)
