智通财经APP获悉，全球最大的运动服装品牌耐克(NKE.US)宣布将关闭其数字运动鞋子公司RTFKT，此举是新任首席执行官埃利奥特·希尔上任后业务重点调整的一部分。耐克在周一的声明中透露，RTFKT将于2025年1月底停止运营。
自希尔10月接任以来，耐克一直在进行领导层调整，但尚未公布具体的扭亏为盈策略。原定于11月举行的投资者日活动已被推迟至12月19日。
据了解，RTFKT是在2021年元宇宙和不可替代代币(NFT)热潮中，以未公开金额被耐克收购的，并推出了数字鞋供购物者购买。当时，耐克前首席执行官约翰·多纳霍表示，此举旨在扩大耐克的数字影响力和能力。
随着RTFKT的关闭，该公司正在筹建一个新网站，用于展示和保存其历史上的设计作品。对于此次关闭的决定，耐克发言人未立即回应置评请求。
