Following a move to Florida earlier this year, Fox News star Sean Hannity has purchased a waterfront estate in the upscale Palm Beach County town of Manalapan for $23.5 million, according to people familiar with the deal.
The home first came on the market for a few months in February for $29 million and was later relisted for $25.95 million in October, according to Zillow. The seller, who bought the property through a limited liability company for $18 million in 2021, couldn't be determined. Mortgage documents list the vice president of the LLC as Tom Del Bosco, an executive with ties to hedge fund Alden Global Capital.
Located on a barrier island, the roughly 2-acre estate has frontage on both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. It comes with a large dock and outdoor pool. The roughly 12,000-square-foot house, built around 1990, has eight bedrooms, a wine room and a rooftop observation terrace. While it is in good condition, local real-estate agents said, some buyers might consider it a teardown.
A spokeswoman for Fox declined to comment. Del Bosco couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
Hannity is the latest in a string of well-known people snapping up real estate in Manalapan, where the luxury market has been bolstered by spillover from neighboring Palm Beach. Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison paid a record-setting $173 million for an oceanfront estate there in 2022. Numerous homes in the area have been razed and replaced with more modern compounds, local agents say.
Listing agents Gary Pohrer and Nicholas Malinosky of the Exclusive Group at Douglas Elliman declined to comment. Hannity's agent, Vince Spadea of Elliman, also declined to comment.
Hannity, 62, announced earlier this year that he was leaving New York for Florida and would be taping both his radio show, "The Sean Hannity Show," and his TV program, "Hannity," from studios in West Palm Beach. He bought a Palm Beach condo for $5.3 million in 2021.
In June, Hannity's waterfront Long Island estate in Oyster Bay, N.Y., sold for roughly $12.7 million to a fan of the Fox News star.
