1709 ET - Specialty vehicle maker Oshkosh's selection of Matthew Field to take over as CFO from Michael Pack, who earlier this year transitioned to the role of president of the company's vocational segment, draws an upbeat reaction from Baird analysts. The announcement had been anticipated following Pack's transition, and Field has served in operating and leadership roles over the past 20 years between two public companies in the aerospace and automotive sectors, the analysts say in a research note. "We view the hire positively and look forward to working with Mr. Field," the analysts say. (dean.seal@wsj.com)
