Aspen Vision All (SGX:1F3), IJM Properties, and Mettiz Capital, part of a consortium bidding for the Batu Kawan Industrial Park 2 project, have responded to Penang state assembly remarks following their proposal's rejection by the Penang Development Corporation on Nov. 19, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Stock Exchange.
The consortium rejected claims of non-compliance, affirming adherence to the 99-year leasehold terms and highlighting enhancements such as freehold options and improved cash returns.
The group expressed disappointment over the lack of dialogue before the rejection, reiterating its readiness for constructive engagement to align with Penang's long-term industrial goals.
