智通财经APP获悉，美国食品药品监督管理局(FDA)周三表示，已批准阿斯利康(AZN.US)上市重磅药物Imfinzi用于治疗部分成人有限期小细胞肺癌。这种化学上被称为durvalumab的治疗方法被批准用于接受化疗和放疗后疾病没有恶化的患者。
Imfinzi是一种人类单克隆抗体，可以阻断肿瘤逃避和抑制免疫系统的能力，同时增强人体的抗癌免疫反应，为毒性化疗提供了另一种选择。
在一项后期试验中，与安慰剂对照组相比，该药在总体生存率上有统计学上的显著改善。
小细胞肺癌是一种高度侵袭性的肺癌，尽管最初对化疗和放疗有反应，但通常会复发和迅速进展，只有15%至30%的患者在诊断后5年存活。
Imfinzi被批准用于治疗多种类型的癌症，包括广泛期小细胞肺癌、胆管癌和非小细胞肺癌。
