1119 ET - Froot Loop's maker WK Kellogg has been under fire from prospective health chief Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for using artificial dyes in some cereals. Kellogg's CEO Gary Pilnick struck a conciliatory tone in an investor presentation, saying the incoming administration has every right to get their people seated in government roles and to decide what its agenda will be. Pilnick said Kellogg would work with regulators, but stressed that its products are safe, and that it uses artificial colors in some markets because those consumers want more vibrant colors. "We know how to make the food, if we were going to go to natural colors across the board," Pilnick said. "But that's not what our kind of signals we were getting, clear signals we were getting from our consumers." (jesse.newman@wsj.com)
