Dongfeng Motor Group Posts Lower Sales, Production in November

Dongfeng Motor Group (HKG:0489) sold 178,107 vehicles in November, down from 219,644 units in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday Hong Kong Exchange filing.

Production volume in November stood at 182,010 units, down from 217,869 units a year earlier.

In terms of "new energy" vehicles, Dongfeng Motor produced 48,819 units during the month, higher than 39,946 units from last year, and sold 44,332 units, also up from 40,432 units a year ago.

Dongfeng Motor Corporation, the company's parent firm, saw total sales of about 2.2 million units for the 11 months, marking a 2.4% year-on-year increase.

Meanwhile, unit Dongfeng Automobile's (SHA:600006) sales from January to November slid by 1.3% year on year to 139,726 units.
