--Italian insurer Generali is considering two or three small U.S. asset managers as takeover targets, MF-Milano Finanza reports, citing unnamed sources.
--Generali is evaluating businesses that are smaller than Conning, the U.S. investment manager whose acquisition it completed in April, according to MF . New York-based Mgg Investment Group was named as one of the potential targets.
-- Woody Bradford, who leads the Generali Investments, is personally involved in the process, MF reports.
