Inner Mongolia Mengdian Huaneng Thermal Power (SHA:600863) plans to invest 3.96 billion yuan into the new energy configuration and flexible transformation of China's Chayouzhong Banner wind farm, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange disclosure on Thursday.
The investment and the construction will be made through the Chinese thermal power generation company's subsidiary, Inner Mongolia Beilian Electric Phaeton Energy.
A new 220-kilovolt booster station will be built for the project, which will be connected to the 220kV side of the Chayouzhong 500kV transformer with a 220kV line.
The Ulanqab Municipal Development and Reform Commission approved the project, the disclosure added.
The company's shares rose more than 1% in recent trade.
