Uber和文远知行在阿联酋落地中东最大商业运营Robotaxi车队
12月6日，文远知行WeRide与全球最大的移动出行及配送科技公司优步Uber Technologies， Inc.（NYSE：UBER，以下简称“Uber”）宣布，双方合作的自动驾驶出行服务正式落地阿联酋首都——阿布扎比。
这是Uber平台首次在美国以外地区上线自动驾驶车辆，也是美国和中国之外规模最大的商业运营Robotaxi车队。
本次落地得到了阿布扎比综合交通中心（Integrated Transport Centre， Abu Dhabi Mobility）的大力支持，是将自动驾驶车辆变成该地区日常生活一部分的关键一步。阿联酋全国领先的交通公司TawasulTransport将担任车队运营商。
文远知行CFO兼国际业务负责人李璇特别强调了公司对服务安全性和可靠性的承诺：“文远知行始终将乘客和行人的安全置于首位，采用经过严格验证的成熟自动驾驶技术。我们通过超1800天的公开运营，展现了对安全的承诺，树立了自动驾驶落地应用的新标杆。”
Uber全球自动驾驶与配送运营负责人Noah Zych表示：“我们非常高兴与文远知行携手合作，并获得阿布扎比综合交通中心的大力支持。随着在阿布扎比迈出这新的一步，我们期待通过Uber平台的强大优势，帮助合作伙伴让自动驾驶车辆成为日常生活的一部分。”
