　　美国媒体当地时间9日报道，77位诺贝尔奖得主当天签署公开信，敦促国会参议院不要批准小罗伯特·肯尼迪出任美国卫生与公众服务部（HHS）部长。

　　这77位来自医学、化学、物理学和经济学等不同领域的诺奖得主在信中表示，“让小肯尼迪先生负责卫生与公众服务部将危及公众健康，破坏美国在健康科学方面的全球领导地位。”

　　美国媒体报道说，小肯尼迪以反疫苗闻名，明确表示反对接种疫苗。他曾对媒体表示：“没有安全有效的疫苗”，他还表示“疫苗会导致自闭症”。

　　美国当选总统特朗普上月14日提名小罗伯特·弗朗西斯·肯尼迪（Robert F． Kennedy Jr．）为美国卫生与公众服务部（HHS）部长。这项任命必须获得参院多数议员同意。

　　小肯尼迪来自肯尼迪家族，现年70岁，是已故前司法部长、联邦参议员罗伯特·弗朗西斯·肯尼迪之子，其伯父是1963年遇刺身亡的前总统约翰·肯尼迪。

　　据央视新闻，当地时间8月23日，美国独立总统候选人小罗伯特·肯尼迪宣布正式退出2024年的总统竞选，并表示将支持特朗普。肯尼迪在宾夕法尼亚州的一份法庭文件中表示，鉴于对特朗普的支持，他与竞选搭档妮可·沙纳汉决定撤回在宾夕法尼亚州的竞选请愿书。
