International Flavors & Fragrances named Michael DeVeau as its chief financial officer, succeeding Glenn Richter, effective Jan. 1.
DeVeau, who was additionally named executive vice president, joined the company in 2009, having held several roles of increasing responsibility. He most recently served as senior vice president of corporate finance and investor relations at the New York-based flavorings and scents company, it said Tuesday.
Prior, DeVeau held roles at PepsiCo and Citigroup Investment Research.
He succeeds Richter, who served as CFO and business transformation officer. Richter previously announced his retirement, which will take effect at the end of the year.
