花旗集团料将实现2024年收入指引区间的高端，并计划在该行的资本前景进一步明朗后提高股票回购规模。

　　“将花旗的更多资本返还给投资者是我的首要任务，”花旗首席财务官Mark Mason周二在高盛组织的会议上表示，“我深知我们相较于同业的交易水平。”

　　Mason还表示，该行预计今年将达到800亿至810亿美元收入指引的高端。“所以这感觉非常好，”他说。Mason表示，支出也可能处于区间高端。这表明该行将实现年初的两项关键指标预测。

　　分析师和投资者的问题是，为何花旗的回购力度一直不温不火，尽管该行拥有大量资本缓冲。Mason表示，这与7月出台的监管新规无关 —— 当时花旗因未能充分改善数据管理而遭到罚款。他强调，回购和分红均未受到这些举措的影响。

　　花旗本季度的回购目标为10亿美元，目前已完成5亿美元。
