智通财经APP获悉，维权投资者Anson Funds Management收购了Lionsgate Studios(LION.US)部分股权，并正在与该电影公司商谈释放价值的方式。
Anson Funds Management投资组合经理Sagar Gupta表示，Lionsgate Studios被低估了，该公司应该考虑一系列选择，包括在完成剥离Starz有线电视和流媒体服务后进行出售。Sagar Gupta补充称，Lionsgate Studios由于其强大的潜在收入和深厚的内容库，将成为传统和数字媒体公司以及主要技术和人工智能公司的收购目标。
Anson Funds Management是Lionsgate Studios前五大独立股东之一。Anson Funds Management已经与Lionsgate Studios的管理层和董事会进行了建设性的会谈。该公司认为，由于公司治理问题和近期票房表现不佳，Lionsgate Studios的股价低于迪士尼(DIS.US)和华纳音乐(WMG.US)等同行。
