格隆汇12月10日｜白宫周二在一份声明中表示，美国商务部已敲定向存储芯片制造商美光科技提供逾61亿美元补贴的方案，以支持美光在国内建设几家半导体工厂。这项补贴将为美光位于纽约和爱达荷州的工厂项目提供资金，预计到本十年末将创造至少2万个就业岗位。

美国商务部和美光还就额外投资2.75亿美元的初步条款达成一致，以扩建其在弗吉尼亚州马纳萨斯的工厂，该工厂主要生产用于汽车、网络和工业市场的芯片。
