智通财经获悉，礼来公司(LLY.US)首席执行官Dave Ricks表示，该公司将开始研究其畅销减肥药是否也能有效控制酗酒、吸烟和吸毒等成瘾行为。在一次会议上，Ricks在接受采访时说，这些药物是“反享乐”的，可能会让病人暂时摆脱对毒品的依赖。一些医生已经表示，这种药物可以帮助缓解毒瘾，礼来制药的竞争对手诺和诺德公司(NVO.US)今年早些时候表示，他们也在计划对毒瘾进行研究。
Ricks说：“这些药物对其他我们认为与体重无关的事情也有用。他们正在减少这种欲望循环。所以明年，你会看到礼来公司开始对酒精滥用和尼古丁治疗使用，甚至药物滥用进行大规模研究。”
