Wilton Resources Corporation (SGX:5F7) has suspended operations at its Ciemas Gold Project in Indonesia due to severe rainfall linked to La Niña, according to a Tuesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
The downpour has caused flash floods, landslides, and power outages, disrupting the processing facility. While back-up generators are in use, damaged roads have stalled fuel deliveries.
No infrastructure damage was reported, and all personnel are accounted for. Heavy rain is forecast to continue until April 2025.
