Zeta Global (ZETA) issued a statement Monday about Omnicom Group's (OMC) announcement to acquire Interpublic Group (IPG), with Zeta Chief Executive David Steinberg saying the proposed deal is a "positive one" for both the industry and Zeta.
Steinberg addressed the proposed merger, highlighting Zeta's "extensive relationships" with both Omnicom and Interpublic Group, during its Zeta Data Summit.
Shares of Zeta were down more than 10% with Omnicom Group shares down nearly 9% in recent Monday trading while Interpublic shares were up over 6%.
