Sonic Healthcare (ASX:SHL) will acquire LADR - Laboratory Group Dr. Kramer & Colleagues in Germany for 423 million euros, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The transaction consideration includes the issue of up to 222 million euros in Sonic Healthcare ordinary shares, the filing said. The balance will be settled via existing cash and debt facilities.
Sonic Healthcare expects the acquisition to be immediately accretive to earnings per share, reaching high single-digit percentage accretion after three years, the filing stated.
The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2025, subject to conditions and regulatory approval.
