智通财经APP获悉，克罗格(KR.US)周三宣布，在终止与艾伯森(ACI.US)的合并后，将回购75亿美元的股票。
新的回购计划取代了该公司现有的10亿美元授权，该授权于2022年9月获得批准，其中包括一项“加速股票回购”协议以回购约50亿美元的股票。
克罗格在声明中表示：“现在克罗格已经终止了合并协议，公司已经准备好部署其产能。随着资产负债表的加强，克罗格将在暂停两年多后恢复股票回购。”
克罗格表示，将开始赎回2024年8月27日发行的47亿美元优先票据，其中包含与合并协议终止有关的特殊强制性赎回条款。
该公司还终止了此前宣布的交换艾伯森所有未偿还票据的要约，金额高达74亿美元。
据悉，美国俄勒冈州的地区法官Adrienne Nelson周二阻止了克罗格以246亿美元收购艾伯森的交易，认为此次收购将减少美国食品杂货行业的竞争。克罗格和艾伯森在2022年10月宣布同意合并，这原本有望成为美国历史上规模最大的超市收购案。
周三美股盘后，克罗格股价上涨2.89%，报63.10美元。
