　　根据该公司周三的声明，梅西百货一位前员工故意虚报送货费用，此举将给全年的毛利润和调整后每股收益带来7900万美元的影响。大部分影响将体现在第四季度。

　　梅西百货将每股收益预期从8月份时预估的超过2.90美元下调至2.25-2.50美元。该公司还下调了毛利率预期。

　　梅西百货股价在纽约市场盘前下跌8.2%。截至周二该股今年已下跌17%。
