智通财经APP获悉,亚马逊(AMZN.US)周二在美国48个城市正式推出Amazon Auto服务,以期与开市客(COST.US)的热门购车计划竞争。
据介绍,Amazon Auto初期将在美国全国主要大都市地区提供现代汽车经销商的线上汽车购物服务。2025年,亚马逊计划为线上汽车购买计划推出更多的制造商、品牌、城市和新功能。
Amazon Auto线上体验将允许用户通过品牌、型号、装饰、颜色和功能在当地经销商处浏览和搜索可用车辆。客户还可以获得即时估值,并以现有车辆的价格兑换新车。该计划还以透明的定价为特色,并允许融资选择。
Amazon Auto首席执行官Fan Jin表示:“我们正在与经销商和品牌合作,重新设计汽车购物,使其更加透明、方便和客户友好。”
据了解,开市客的汽车计划允许会员购买新车和经过认证的二手车。该计划与美国3000多家经销商网络合作。与此同时,沃尔玛(WMT.US)也提供汽车购买服务,但不如开市客成熟。沃尔玛的服务主要扮演一个促进者的角色,在没有像开市客这样的结构化计划的情况下,将客户引导到当地经销商处。
