DHT Holdings (DHT) said late Thursday it agreed to sell its very large crude carrier DHT Scandinavia for $43.4 million to an undisclosed buyer.
The shipper said it expects to handover the vessel the buyer in January.
DHT said it has no outstanding bank debt associated with DHT Scandinavia, adding the sale proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including potential stock buybacks or pre-paying existing debt.
