Zimmer Biomet Holdings Receives FDA Clearance for OsseoFit Stemless Shoulder System

Zimmer Biomet Holdings (ZBH) said Friday that the US Food and Drug Administration has granted 510(k) clearance for its OsseoFit Stemless Shoulder System, a new total shoulder replacement implant.

The company said the system is designed to match the natural humeral anatomy to optimize anatomical fit while preserving healthy bone.

The OsseoFit Stemless Shoulder System is expected to be commercially available in the first quarter of 2025, it added.
