智通财经APP获悉，有媒体援引知情人士透露的消息报道称，华尔街金融巨头摩根士丹利(MS.US)即将达成协议，从总部位于西班牙的桑坦德银行(SAN.US)购买累计价值高达9亿欧元(大约9.4亿美元)的西班牙抵押贷款资产。
知情人士表示，两家银行业巨头目前正在敲定具体的协议条款，Alantra Partners SA 担任桑坦德银行的金融投资顾问，由于谈判是私下进行的，因此要求不具名。知情人士表示，具体的细节仍有可能发生变化，甚至交易最终也可能告吹。
这两家商业银行以及Alantra Partners SA 的代表均拒绝发表评论。
另外，有媒体在上月报道曾报道，摩根士丹利以及AB CarVal Investors正在与CaixaBank SA进行谈判，以购买价值大约5亿欧元的抵押贷款资产组合，这些消息反映出摩根士丹利对于一些具备价值的抵押贷款资产的购买兴趣异常浓厚。
