Barton Gold Holdings (ASX:BGD) completed a reverse circulation growth drilling program at its Tunkillia gold project in South Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The drilling targeted parallel lodes and depth extensions in areas where gold mineralization has previously been intersected but not yet included in the mineral resource estimate, the filing said.
The project has a mineral resource estimate of 1.5 million ounces of gold, the filing added.
The company's shares were down almost 2% in recent Friday trade.
