消息面上，12月16日，比特币盘中触及106495美元/枚，再度刷新历史新高。截至发稿，比特币涨超3%，报105069美元。此前，特朗普在接受媒体采访时表示，“我们将在加密货币领域做一些伟大的事情”，他指出，越来越多的国家正在拥抱加密货币，但“我们要成为领导者”。值得一提的是，自11月5日美国大选以来，比特币价格已飙涨超50%。截至周日，比特币实现了七周连涨，创下2021年以来最长的连涨记录。
