美联储周三(19日)公布议息结果，一如预期减息0.25%，但未来减息步伐则较市场预期为慢。据最新的利率位图显示，美联储官员上调2025年底的利率中位数预测至3.9%，高于较早时预估的3.4%水平，意味明年将会减息两次。
中银香港个金产品财富策略及分析处主管张诗琪表示，美国通胀回落速度将会放慢，美联储因而减慢未来减息步伐，以先行管理市场预期。
张诗琪认为，美国通胀回落速度或会受到未来的财政政策方向影响，但由于政策落地并传达至实质经济层面有滞后性，故此一向以数据为主导的美联储需要时间观察经济情况，以调节减息步伐。美联储主席亦强调未来进一步减息时，必须看到对抗通胀取得新的进展，言论倾向鹰派。目前市场普遍预期，美联储明年1月议息将按兵不动。
张诗琪亦预期，随着美联储调节减息步伐，美国债息将在回落过程中出现阶段性反弹。(js/u)
