SK Hynix (KRX:000660) introduced the PS1012 U.2, a 61TB high-capacity SSD designed for AI data centers, the South Korean chipmaker said Wednesday.
The product, which features 5th-generation PCIe 5.0, doubles bandwidth over its predecessor, achieving data transfer speeds of 32gigatransfers per second and sequential read speeds of 13 gigabits per second, it said.
The SSD supports OCP 2.0 for better compatibility with global AI server devices, which is key for enterprise storage solutions, the release said.
