智通财经APP获悉，国家移民管理局12月17日发布公告，将过境免签外国人在境内停留时间延长至240小时(10天)，并新增21个口岸作为过境免签人员出入境口岸，进一步扩大停留活动区域。消息公布后，众多外国游客通过同程旅行(00780)及旗下国际旅行预订平台HopeGoo关注和预订入境机票、酒店等产品。同程旅行数据显示，消息公布一小时内，海外游客搜索国内酒店和入境机票的搜索热度较前日同一时段上涨87%。新年对外国游客具有较高的吸引力，海外游客预订元旦前后入住的酒店预订热度较前日同一时段上涨超过5倍。
同程研究院分析认为，过境免签政策时间延长和活动范围扩大，将吸引更多符合条件的外国人通过过境免签来中国旅游，从而促进中国入境旅游市场的进一步增长。本次新增的太原、扬州、黄山、张家界等口岸城市都是中国著名的文化旅游城市，这些口岸的开放，不仅能够带动当地入境游市场增长，也有利于增进国际文化交流，让更多外国游客深入体验中国文化。
