消息面上，12月19日，艾美疫苗发布公告，集团新技术路线悬浮培养四价MDCK细胞流感疫苗，已于近日获得国家药品监督管理局《药物临床试验批准通知书》，标志着该疫苗的研发进入了新的阶段。目前，国内上市的流感疫苗均基于鸡胚工艺生产，尚无基于细胞基质的流感疫苗获批上市。MDCK细胞流感疫苗作为重磅大单品，该款产品上市后有望成为集团新的业绩增长点。
同日，艾美疫苗发布公告，该集团第二代高效价吸附破伤风疫苗已于近日获得国家药品监督管理局《药物临床试验批准通知书》，标志着该疫苗的研发进入了新的阶段。破伤风是一种极为严重的潜在致命性疾病，目前接种破伤风疫苗是预防破伤风最经济有效的措施。此外，该集团正在积极推进吸附无细胞百白破-HIB联合疫苗(以下简称“四联疫苗”)、五联疫苗等多联疫苗的研发。
