英国汽车业寒冬加剧 11月产量创44年新低
智通财经APP获悉，英国11月份的汽车产量降至44年来最低水平，受到英国及欧洲需求疲软的影响，产量同比下降30%，仅约64,200辆，连续第九个月出现下滑。英国汽车制造商和贸易商协会(SMMT)报告称，11月份所有制造商的产量均未能超过去年同期，反映出行业的普遍衰退。
长期以来，英国汽车产量受到成本上升和英国脱欧后贸易壁垒的影响，加之向电动汽车转型的挑战，行业困境加剧。Stellantis NV计划关闭其在卢顿拥有120年历史的沃克斯豪尔汽车工厂，这一举措预示着行业进一步的下滑趋势。
SMMT数据显示，截至11月，英国今年累计生产了近734,600辆汽车，同比减少13%，远低于2019年疫情前同期的123万辆。
面对汽车行业的困境，政策制定者上个月表示将审查电动汽车销售规定，但汽车制造商对此表示不满，认为政府在刺激市场需求方面做得不够。英国汽车行业的未来，似乎正被这些内外因素共同塑造，面临着转型与生存的双重考验。
