保险巨头CEO谋杀案检控升级，疑犯被美国政府加控两项罪名
美国联邦政府指控Luigi Mangione本月谋杀UnitedHealth Group Inc．高管Brian Thompson，一旦罪成这位26岁的被告可能会受到加重的刑罚。
联邦检察官在Mangione被引渡至纽约接受该州审判的途中对其提出了谋杀和跟踪指控。
联邦指控宣布前不久，Mangione在周四的一场法庭听证会上同意从宾夕法尼亚州被引渡至纽约面对谋杀指控。他旋即被纽约警方收押并被飞赴纽约出庭。

Mangione的律师之一Karen Friedman Agnifilo在联邦指控宣布前说，“我们已经准备好和这些指控做抗争，随便他们去哪个法庭”。她表示，联邦指控将是在纽约州已经过度指控的一级谋杀罪之上进一步堆砌。
警方声称，Thompson正要参加12月4日的投资者会议时Mangione用一支9毫米的3D打印“鬼枪”从背后将其射杀。曼哈顿地方检察官Alvin Bragg周二宣布对Mangione提出一级谋杀指控，罪名若成立他可能会入狱服刑并不得假释。联邦政府指控他的罪名也令其面临重刑。
被告“在曼哈顿人行道上明目张胆地近距离射杀Thompson，” Bragg在一份声明中说，“州里的案子将与任何联邦案件并行处理。”
Mangione周四可能要在曼哈顿下城的联邦和州法院间辗转。他在联邦法院的首次过堂可能只需短暂露面，而之后州法院的提讯中他将表态是否认罪。
