智通财经APP获悉，据两位知情人士透露，因双方仍未达成协议，大众汽车(VWAGY.US)与工会就工厂关闭和减薪问题的谈判预计将持续到周四。自本周一以来，谈判正持续进行，双方希望在圣诞节前达成协议以防止大规模罢工。德国金属工业联合会警告说，罢工最早可能在明年开始。
欧洲最大的汽车制造商大众目前正努力应对需求减少、成本上升以及来自中国竞争对手的低价竞争。在过去的一个月里，约10万名大众汽车工人已举行两次罢工，这是该公司历史上规模最大的罢工，抗议管理层削减工资、削减产能、并可能首次关闭德国工厂的计划。
消息人士称，谈判仍有可能破裂，其中一位消息人士表示，“还有很多事情要做”。大众汽车拒绝置评，德国金属工业集团(IG Metall)未即刻置评。
双方在关键问题上仍存在很大分歧，包括关闭工厂的可能性。劳工代表强烈反对这一提议，而这家汽车制造商坚称，不能排除这种可能性。
彭博当天早些时候援引知情人士报道称，大众和工会正接近达成一项协议，在不关闭德国工厂的情况下重组该品牌。据报道，管理层愿意让工厂继续运营，并恢复工作保障协议到2030年，作为交换，工人需要放弃奖金。
