Air New Zealand's (NZE:AIR, ASX:AIZ) group capacity rose 3.9% year on year in November following a 2.1% decline in October, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
Long-haul international available seat kilometers (ASKs) rose 5.7%, short-haul international ASKs grew 1.4%, and domestic ASKs were up 2.2%.
The country's flagship airline carried over 1.3 million passengers in November, up 0.5% on the year-ago period.
Year-to-date, the number of passengers carried was down 2.5% to nearly 6.5 million compared with 6.7 million in the prior-year period.
The airline's shares were up nearly 1% in recent Wednesday trade in New Zealand.
