Cygnus Metals (ASX:CY5) said that shareholders of both the company and Toronto Stock Exchange-listed Dore Copper Mining approved their proposed merger, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The merger is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, subject to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice's final order, TSX Venture Exchange's conditional acceptance, and other outstanding conditions, the filing said.
Additionally, Cygnus Metals shareholders passed all resolutions, including the issue of shares under the second tranche of its AU$11 million placement, at the general meeting on Monday, according to the filing.
