IT之家 12 月 24 日消息，当时时间周一，Netflix 在美国加利福尼亚州北区地方法院对博通提起指控，称博通旗下 VMware 的 vSphere 虚拟化平台侵犯了 Netflix五项与虚拟机通信相关的技术专利。

Netflix 发言人拒绝就此次诉讼发表评论。博通发言人也没有立即回应置评请求。

实际上，博通和 Netflix自 2018 年以来就一直深陷专利纠纷，原因是 Netflix 被指控侵犯了博通与视频流技术相关的专利，案件涉及加利福尼亚州、德国和荷兰。

作为始于 2018 年的更大规模法律纠纷的一部分，博通在美国对 Netflix 提起的单独诉讼计划于 2025 年 6 月进行开庭审理。

博通去年以 690 亿美元（IT之家备注：当前约 5039.29 亿元人民币）收购了 VMware。Netflix 请求法院判决一笔数额不详的经济赔偿。
