【Lithium Americas与GM关闭开发Thacker Pass锂矿的合资企业】金十期货12月23日讯，据外媒报道，Lithium Americas周一表示，已经关闭与美国汽车制造商通用汽车（General Motors）的合资企业，该合资企业将开发内华达州的Thacker Pass锂矿。该公司首席执行官Jonathan Evans表示，公司预计将在2025年初就该项目做出最终投资决定。这笔交易的完成为这个巨型锂矿带来又一次提振，几个月前，美国为该项目提供了22.6亿美元的贷款。Thacker Pass计划在本十年晚些时候开放，预计第一阶段每年将生产4万吨电池级碳酸锂，足以满足多达80万辆电动汽车的需求。
