FuboTV (FUBO) shares were down more than 2% premarket Tuesday after the company said TelevisaUnivision has pulled its programming from the Fubo live TV streaming platform over a disagreement on contract terms.
"TelevisaUnivision, the biggest provider of Spanish language content in the US, is attempting to use its dominant market power to force Fubo to pay higher prices," FuboTV said.
According to the company, TelevisaUnivision proposed new contract terms that would raise subscription prices by 25% and require subscribers to buy the entire bundle of TelevisaUnivision channels.
FuboTV said it remains open to negotiating a new content agreement with TelevisaUnivision.
TelevisaUnivision did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
