12月23日，美国男装零售商Destination XL Group收到了股东Fund 1 Investments LLC每股3美元的收购要约。
持有Destination XL 10.6%股份的Fund 1 Investments周四向这家男装零售商提交了一份不具约束力的收购要约，每股3美元的报价比该零售商上周四的收盘价溢价34%。该报价不包括融资条件。
Fund 1 Investments表示：“作为一家资本充足的收购方，我们有能力加速完成交易，为DXLG股东带来巨大价值，并使公司作为一家私营公司继续取得成功。”
事实上，Fund 1 Investments对零售业并不陌生，因为它是一家专注于消费/零售行业的多空股票公司。该基金有着成功的投资历史，包括今年早些时候参与黑石(BX.US)以64亿欧元收购化妆品制造商欧舒丹。
今年2月，Fund 1 Investments增持了BJ's餐饮(BJRI.US)11%的股份，并与该连锁餐厅达成协议，将前达登饭店(DRI.US)首席财务官C.Bradford Richmond拉入董事会。同样在2月，Citi Trends(CTRN.US)增加了两名董事会成员，作为与Fund 1 Investments合作协议的一部分。
据知情人士透露，自2017年成立以来，Fund 1 Investments的复合回报率为37%。Fund 1 Investments正在启动一个名为Strategics Vehicle的工具，该工具将持有公司的控股或非控股私人股份，类似于其欧舒丹的交易。
