据路透，传媒大亨默多克旗下新闻集团和澳大利亚电信公司Telstra宣布，将其澳大利亚有线电视和流媒体部门Foxtel出售给英国在线体育流媒体和娱乐平台DAZN，该交易对Foxtel的估值(包括债务)为34亿澳元(约合21亿美元)。此次交易预计将于2025财年第二季度完成，尚待监管部门批准。
作为交易的一部分，Foxtel的现有债务将在交易完成时进行再融资。交易完成后，新闻集团将持有DAZN 6%的股份，并在其董事会中获得一个席位。Telstra将持有DAZN 3%的股份。
