消息面上，据市场消息报道，美国化学会其中一个分支CAS与中石油子公司中国石油上海先进材料研究院正在合作使用CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform来加速新材料化学研究和发现。
据了解，中国石油上海先进材料研究院有限公司成立于2021年，旨在解决先进化学材料的关键技术挑战，并推动CNPC从传统的炼油和石化产品供应商转型为更先进和可持续的材料供应商。其研究重点包括高性能工程材料、高性能聚烯烃和弹性体、特种催化剂、先进膜材料、纤维和复合材料等。
中国石油上海先进材料研究院副院长黄旭东表示：“非常高兴与CAS合作，他们将是一个强大的合作伙伴，带来他们复杂的科学信息解决方案，以促进和加快我们对新材料先进科学和技术的方法。期待通过与CAS的合作探索更多创新理念。”
