Alamo Group said President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Leonard informed the board of his plans to retire, preferably by mid-year 2025.
Leonard intends to retire upon appointment of his successor, the company added.
He served as executive vice president in the company's industrial division from 2011, and assumed the role of CEO in May 2021.
The company said it expects to name a successor for Leonard within the next several months.
