12月23日，专注于加勒比地区和拉丁美洲黄金旅游地带的度假村经营商Playa Hotels & Resorts股价在周一美股盘前交易中一度大涨超12%，此前该公司证实将与全球酒店行业领军者凯悦酒店(H.US)进行独家性质的双方谈判。
该公司表示，已与凯悦酒店签署了独家性质的协议，双方将评估各种战略选择，其中有可能包括凯悦收购Playa。
据了解，该协议将一直有效，直至达成最终协议或直到明年2月3日。
凯悦股价在美股盘前交易中则一度上涨1.3%。
公开资料显示，Playa Hotels & Resorts 是一家全球领先的全包式度假村的所有者、经营商以及开发商，专注于墨西哥、牙买加和多米尼加共和国的黄金海滨地段，这三个核心地区是加勒比海和拉丁美洲最受全球范围游客欢迎的旅游目的地。截至2024年12月20日美股收盘，Playa的总计市值约为12亿美元。
