路透台北12月25日 - 台湾公营的中央社周三报导称，台湾公平交易委员会今天委员会议做出决议，由于竞争疑虑大，将禁止台湾外送业务Uber Eats并购foodpanda。
台湾公平会针对此案不愿置评，仅表示，公平会将于今日午后5时由副主委陈志民召开记者会说明公平会的决议。
优步（Uber） 今年5月间，宣布以12.5亿美元收购Delivery Hero在台湾的foodpanda业务，并购买这家德国公司的新股，此举将提高这家正努力应对亚洲日益激烈的竞争的外卖专业公司的流动性。
中央社报导指出，Uber已于今年11月8日向公平会提出完整申报资料，而后便进入审查程序。12月9日公平会宣布因此案结合后市场集中度增高，具有限制竞争疑虑，为社会关注的重大案件，决定延长审议。
该报导援引未具名人士称，公平会今天上午委员会议已经做出决议禁止。虽然Uber的声明指出，已准备好向公平会提出具有拘束力的承诺与附带条件，力求为台湾带来双赢结果，但公平会认为，此案竞争疑虑太大，决定不予通过结合案。（完）
