Bunge Global (BG) temporarily closed its soybean processing facility in Cairo, Illinois, after a fire damaged a conveyor belt, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing a company statement.
No injuries were reported, according to the report.
The company said it is assessing the damage to determine a restart timeline and is working with local authorities to investigate the cause of the fire, Bloomberg reported.
Bunge did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
