路透首尔12月26日 - 韩国零售商新世界(Shinsegae) 的关联公司E-Mart 周四表示，新世界计划与阿里巴巴国际成立合资企业。
该公司在一份监管文件中说，新世界将投资其在韩国电子商务平台 Gmarket 中的100%股份，作为合资公司的一部分。
合资公司将于 2025 年成立，AliExpress Korea 和Gmarket将并入合资公司。但这两个平台将继续独立运营。
11 月，阿里巴巴集团 的季度销售额未能达到分析师的预期，原因是中国消费者削减了开支。
与此同时，根据欧睿国际(Euromonitor)的数据，韩国的电子商务市场位居世界第四，Gmarket一直在与本土电子商务巨头Coupang 和Naver 竞争，同时还面临着阿里全球速卖通（AliExpress）和Temu等中国竞争对手日益严峻的挑战。(完)
