智通财经APP获悉，日本新日铁周四表示，已延长以150亿美元收购美国钢铁(X.US)的交割期限，并表示有信心此次收购将保护和发展这家美国公司。
预计交割日期从之前的2024年第三季度或第四季度修改为2025年第一季度。
周一，美国一个外国投资委员会将批准或阻止该交易的决定提交给美国总统拜登，他有15天的时间做出决定。
拜登和他的继任者特朗普都表示反对购买。
新日铁周四表示。“新日铁希望总统能利用这段时间对此次收购进行公平和基于事实的评估。我们仍然相信，此次收购将保护和发展美国钢铁。”
该补充道，美国司法部反垄断部门的审查程序也在进行中，但没有具体说明何时结束。
